Bingo Players - Cry (Just A Little)

on Monday, June 25, 2012
By the time Paul and Maarten hit 2010, a local & international audience had lined up to watch Bingo Players on stage, packing out clubs everywhere. Touring around the globe and playing at some of the hottest gigs around, including: Creamfields UK & Australia, Nocturnal Festival LA, Dance Valley, Mysteryland Holland and Tomorrowland Belgium, all witnessed the same thing: hands up, party rocking DJs firing up the crowd.
After jumpstarting 2011 with the fresh and original tracks: ‘LAME BRAINED,’ ‘GET ON THE MOVE’ and the Summer Top 10 hit ‘CRY (JUST A LITTLE)’ there’s no doubt that this year has been the year of Bingo Players. Bingo Players joined creative forces via their brand new label ‘Hysteria’ and it resulted in their first landmark hit: ‘CRY (JUST A LITTLE’). The track ruled the airwaves, the net, the clubs, the festivals and mainstream Top 40 charts in a large number of countries.
In 2011, Bingo Players still find themselves climbing an even higher ladder, rapidly. ‘Hysteria’ launched new tracks and happily surprised with the Bingo Players vs. Nicky Romero collaboration ‘SLICED’. Next, a killer remix for Pitbull’s global No. 1 smash hit ‘GIVE ME EVERYTHING’ Ft. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer, turned out to be the most downloaded version in several territories and signaled what lay ahead: great new music! Bingo Players found themselves celebrating their first top 10 position in mainstream Top 40 charts, just before the summer took off. ‘CRY (JUST A LITTLE)’, put a smile on faces worldwide and has been officially released in 20 countries with the U.S just starting in the last quarter. Live stages are calling upon the guys continuously, as they had a full schedule entertaining crowds at: Audiotistic, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Dirty Dutch Mysteryland, Dayglow Miami, Ministry Of Sound London and Versuz Tomorrowland to name but a few.

Calvin Harris - "We'll Be Coming Back" Ft. Example

on Friday, June 22, 2012

Adam Richard Wiles has always produced great music. He's had hit songs such as "Feel So Close,""You Used to Hold Me," and "Awooga" as well as a song that went mainstream, "We Found Love" Ft. Rihanna.  I heard he killed it at Coachella and I wish I got to see him (I heard Rihanna made an appearance too).  If you didn't know Calvin Harris is 28, which is getting pretty old in DJ years, he's a Scottish DJ, singer, song writer, and record producer from Ultra Records.  Oh yeah he's coming out with a new album this year too.  This track, "We'll Be Coming Back" Ft. Example is an energetic, mellow, feel good track that offers some 'easy to rage along with' lyrics.  It definitely sounds like a Calvin Harris song, he sort of has his own chill mellow electro genre. Personally, I like his music but I like the dubstep versions of it better. That is why I decided to add the KillSonik and Jacob Plant Dubstep Remix too. They're both great songs and Calvin Harris is truly a great artist.

Lebron Gets a Ring

It's a nightmare come true. The native traitor of Ohio has finally won his first ring.  First things first, I hate Lebron more than any other athelete in the world, but I have to admit that he is the most athletic player in the NBA without a doubt, standing at 6' 8" 250lb.  He's a beast, he should be playing football.  But lets get to the point.
The fact of the matter is, Lebron, Dwayne Wade, Bosh, and the whole Miami bench played hungrier, smarter, and with more energy than the younger Oklahoma Thunder.  They clearly outplayed them and stopped an incredible team with a lot of momentum behind their back.  But at the age of 27, it has taken Lebron 9 years to get his first Championship.

Now Russel Westbrook is going to get a lot of criticism for his poor shot selection as well as shooting the ball too much.  He shot 20-32 in game 4, which probably encouraged him to shoot more in game five, compared to Kevin Durant's 9-19.  In game 5 Westbrook shot 4-20, while Durant shot 13-24.  The ball should have been in Durant's hands in the 4th quarter like it has been this entire playoffs instead of Westbrook's hands.  It's obvious to everyone that Kevin Durant is the first option, I don't understand why Westbrook would try to take over 3 games in a row.  I get that he is a natural 2 guard, I guess he needs to understand his role as a point guard.  The Leuzinger high school alumni very well could have defeated his own team by trying to lead, but we'll never really no.  Too continue, the bench didn't show up like they did the rest of the playoffs (with exception to Harden) and nobody really stepped up to be that X-factor that wins games either.  Overall, there wasn't that spark in the Thunder's eyes like there was during the rest of the playoff.  There wasn't that intensity or that confidence either.  They are a very young team and it showed, their average age is 26.6 years between a 12 man roster (The 1976 Portland Trail Blazers are the youngest team to win a championship, averaging 24.5 years between a 12 man roster).  They have a lot of time to learn and gain more experience and their time to win a championship will come.
I'm NOT going to say that Lebron is the best player in the NBA because he's not.  He has only won one championship, he needs to defend his title.  It's like being an undisputed champion in boxing.  Besides that he definitely earned his title, he played some of the best basketball he has ever played, and he did it as a team player rather than by himself (showing that he has matured a little).  Dwayne Wade has contributed a lot to that and I really believe he instilled the champion spirit in Lebron.  There's no "I" in Lebron James and I think he learned that and I believe that is why they won.  Overall, the Heat were just a better team.
Shane Battier (left) got dunked on by Russel Westbrook (right)
You can't say this season was fixed cause it wasn't (although the Lakers would've won if David Stern didn't veto the Chris Paul trade), you can't say this year didn't count due to the shorter season (because it does), and you can't say Lebron didn't earn this title (because he did).  All you can do is accept that the inevitable finally happened and move on.
Having that said, I hate Lebron and I hope he never wins another championship again.  He is selfish, egotistical, and he sat out the end of game 4 which makes him a bitch.  To add on, I think Chris Bosh is a little girl and that he should have stayed on the Toronto Raptors because he looks like a dinosaur.  I hate Shane Battier, the way he looks, acts, and his attitude; he was probably ecstatic when he found out that he didn't have to guard Kobe this playoffs.  I think Dwayne Wade is chill. I hate erik spoelstra too, I'm not even going to capitalize his name, I think he's a shit coach and he sucks.
So to Lebron James and the rest of the Heat, enjoy it while it lasts because the Lakers will see your sorry asses in the Finals next year.

Caspa - War (Ft. Keith Flint) (Subscape remix)

on Thursday, June 21, 2012
This track is bangin'! The original version was pretty chill but it definitely needed some dirty dubstep in it.  Check out Caspa's track ft. Keith Flint remixed by Subscape.  It has a high energy beat and then gets kind of dirty a quarter of the way through.  It's definitely music you'd listen to at the gym to get pumped up!

DRIICKY GRAHAM, "SNAPBACK & TATTOOS"

Every once in a while there's an ignorant, hipster, garbage track floating around that hits my ears and makes me want to gig.  It ALMOST defines that saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure".  Well guys, this is my treasure haha the last one was probably "Rack City" by Tyga, but he's from Gardena so it's chill.  Plus "Rack City" was way sicker of a song that our generation is going to be singing for years.  Having that said, introducing a new artist, Driicky Graham thats 'Driicky' as in: [D]ope [R]apper [I]npsired [I]nto [C]reating [K]rafty [Y]outhfulness so get it straight haha.  He's a 20 year old rapper fresh out of Oxford, North Carolina with Nu World Era Music Group.  This is his first hit song, "Snapbacks and Tattoos."  Yes it is as good as it sounds and yes you should jam out to it, especially if you like snapbacks and tattoos, nice whips, fly chicks all that cause cash rules.

GC Honey of the Month, June 2012: Kate Upton

on Tuesday, June 19, 2012
So if you haven't noticed yet, the girl of the month is Kate.  Her birthday was on June 10th so we're going to get to know her a little better.  June gloom?  Ppsshhh not with this PYT around.

After she was spotted by a Trump Modeling agent at age 12, it was clear Kate was going to be a star.  With 33-25-36 measurements, standing at 5’-10”, all american, with blonde hair, blue/green eyes, born on June 10, 1992 in Michigan.  Her favorite food is sushi and her favorite color is yellow (double points for Asians! haha).  She was raised in Florida, rode horses competitively (and she was way good at it, she won 4 championships as an equestrienne), oh and her uncle is the U.S. Representative, Fred Upton.  She comes from a pretty wealthy family, I mean...her Great-grandfather is one of the founders of Whirlpool Corporation.  She started modeling at the age of 15 and was the face of Guess (2010-11), she’s hit up Victoria’s Secrets, and won Rookie of the Year for the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.  I heard that she was pretty cool too, I mean a white girl that can Dougie AND cat daddy? Haha.  I found out that she is college educated, attending Indiana University.  Wow good looking, talented, and smart?  Well, we don't know if she is smart, I know some girls that went to college that still aren't smart, so who knows?  But then again who cares?  It's Kate Upton, she could be a zombie and she'd still be hot.

So what has Ms. Upton been up to?  Well... She was voted #2 on Ask men's top 99 'most desirable' famous women of 2012, losing only to Sofia Vergara (star of Modern Family).   IMDB ranked her #1 over Jessica Alba as the 'hottest woman alive' too.  To add on, GQ Magazine just released their July issue with none other than Kate on the front cover.  Looks like GQ followed in GC's footsteps by naming her their girl of the month.  Too bad for us she was booked for a photo shoot, so we'll snap some pictures of her next time.  But till then, check out her photo shoot with GQ.

She's also a girl that loves sports.  Her favorite football team is the New York Jets and her favorite basketball team is the Los Angeles Clippers.  But she cheated on the Clippers and did a little video with the OKC Thunder, specifically Kevin Durant and James Harden, on her web show "Take a Supermodel to Work."  It's actually pretty funny.  I'm surprised they don't warm up to her more at the beginning, they must've learned from Kobe.  Check out the video, presented by Skullcandy:
